Ted Richman was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1978, the United States District Court, Eastern and Southern Districts 1980, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Supreme Court 1986. Preparatory education: Ohio University (B.A. 1973). Legal Education: New York Law School (J.D. 1977). Formerly associated with Pillersdorf and Nassy (1975_78).

Areas of Expertise: Corporate, Commercial, Litigation, Real Property Law and the representation of Closely Held Business Entities.
Ted has trial experience in all the Courts comprising the Second and Third Departments of New York State and the Federal Eastern and Southern District Courts. In addition he has appeared before the First and Second Department Appellate Courts of New York State; the New York State Court of Appeals and the United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ted has been deeply committed to the Long Island Community for many years. His community service has been recognized publically by both the New York State Senate and Assembly. Ted has been a Trustee of the Friedberg JCC since 1984. From 1996 to 2001 he was President of the Friedberg JCC and under his stewardship as President, the Friedberg JCC merged with the Beach Y in Long Beach, purchased property Oceanside and constructed a 57,000 square foot state-of-the-art Community Center. Ted has also served on the Long Island Program Services Cabinet of UJA Federation which he chaired for three years and is currently on the Long Island Steering Committee. He is also a member of UJA Federation’s Network Commission where he sits on the Network Commission Cabinet and Task Force on Agency Capacity and Excellence. Currently Ted is once again President of the Friedberg JCC.
